Hello my name is Cheryl Blanchard

I want to introduce myself and my training services to you.

Having worked in the care industry for many years, as a carer and manager, I fully understand the importance of Induction Training and the resulting benefits the company and its service users will receive. I specialise in training and supporting staff to grow into their new job role by using the Common Induction standard (CIS) as required by CQC.

The Common Induction Standard sets out the basic things that care workers need to know for their job role. Induction forms the foundation of all knowledge required for NVQ qualifications underpinning all social care training. CIS also provide a structured start for new and old workers who are not familiar with the standard, thus giving them the opportunity to build up their confidence by developing competency, and supporting continuing professional development.

The purpose of the standards covering staff induction within the National Minimum Standards is to drive improvements by promoting the development of a competent qualified and skilled workforce/team, that will be able to meet the individual needs of the service users in your home.
